Health Fund Policies

If you are unsure if your private health insurance covers remedial massage therapy, we advise you contact them direct and ask if remedial massage is covered under your policy.

Which Therapists are Covered

All of our Therapists are accredited with every Health Fund in Australia. Please ensure that your particular Health Insurance covers you for Remedial Massage Therapy as policies and add-ons vary quite substantially between the various funds.

Which Treatments are Covered

Remedial massage treatments are claimable through all Health Funds that include it on their policies..

Relaxation (Swedish) massage and Pregnancy Massage is not covered due to health fund rules.

You cannot claim gift voucher purchases or redemptions against your private health insurance.

You are able to claim the cost of your treatment against most of the private health insurance funds in Australia including Medibank Private, BUPA, Australian Unity, NIB, CBHS, Defence Health, AHM, GU Health, HBF, HCF and others. Check with us at the time you make your booking.

Important Note

Please check with your health fund regarding changes in rules and regulations. Your health fund may make changes without your knowledge to any of their plans and packages and what may or may not be claimable.

Because of this we cannot guarantee that you will be able to claim as Health Funds change their policies or our ability to claim with them and they do not always informed us until after the fact.
