Our COVID-19 Policy

We have always taken our responsibility to the ensure that we provide the safest possible environment in our Clinic for our staff, patients and their families, very seriously.

 

For 2022 and the challenges that will inevitably come with open borders, we feel it’s important that we keep our patients (and future patients), up to date with our ongoing response to what is ahead of us.  

 

Sterilising

Our sterilisation protocols and procedures have always exceeded the industry standard in ensuring all those visiting us enter a safe and sterile environment. We’ve had these procedures in place long before the arrival of Covid-19 and we continue to review these procedures regularly.

We have installed Air Purifiers in our treatment rooms and Clinic environment. HEPA filters remove 99.97% of all particles as small as 0.3 microns including viruses (including COVID-19 aerosol particles), bacteria, pollen and allergens.

 

COVID-19 Exposure Protocols

We would kindly ask that you do not attend the clinic if:

 

  • You have tested positive for COVID-19. (RAT and/or PCR)

  • You have been in close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19

  • You have been tested for COVID-19 and are waiting for your result.

  • Any of your close contacts and household members are awaiting results of a COVID-19 test or have been confirmed positive for COVID-19.

  • You been identified as a close contact or you live with someone who has been advised to self-isolate.

 
Cancellations

It has always been our policy that if you are feeling unwell, experiencing flu like symptoms, have a temperature, sore throat or a cough please ring us to reschedule your appointment.

Vaccination Status – Staff

All of our therapists and staff are vaccinated, including mandated boosters.

Vaccination Status – Patients & Visitors

At this time we are permitted to provide services to ALL existing and new patients, regardless if you’re vaccinated or unvaccinated.

 

We will do everything we can to ensure that we provide the safest environment to ALL visitors and we have put additional procedures in place for everyone’s benefit.

 

To ensure we can provide this, we simply ask that you let us know if you’re unvaccinated, no matter your reason, so we can note this on your medical records.

 

Please understand that we ask this purely so we can do our best to look after you and your health while you’re in our care. There will be no judgment towards you on our part whatsoever.

 

Further to this we understand there are some very passionate views on mandated vaccinations held by some. To be frank, we don’t care about your reasons (or the research you’ve done) for not getting vaccinated.

 

When you see us, we want to focus on the on-table treatment we provide to you.

 

Masks

It is most likely that masks will be with us into the foreseeable future.

 

We will continue to comply with all government directives on masks and we ask all visitors to our Clinic to do likewise. Our therapists will be masked for the full duration of every treatment.

You are required to be masked where we need you face up on the massage table, as part on the treatment.

If you forget to bring a mask, we will provide one to you and a $2.00 charge will be added to your account.
