Body Therapeutics is based in Mandurah
, Western Australia. Our business specialises in
providing a broad range of mobile massage, beauty and natural therapies
servicing an area that is currently the fastest growing regional centre
in Australia. We
service the Tourism, Special Events, Corporate, Residential and Injury
Rehabilitation markets with a broad range of services, all delivered to
our customer’s door. Providing a mobile service to our clients,
alleviates many of the problems associated with having to go out to seek
treatment particularly with our injury rehabilitation clients, seniors
or where reduced mobility is a problem. Currently we are the supplier of
massage and beauty therapy services to 14 resorts within the Peel
Region. Our Team.................
Manager Linda will most likely be your first point of contact when you phone Applied Body Therapeutics. The first thing you'll notice when you speak to her are her exceptional communication skills. She will be able to answer any question you have and she will make sure you get the massage therapist from our team that will best suits your needs. As our therapist coordinator, she keeps the team moving in the right direction and on time. Linda is also our Nail Technician and looks after all waxing services for both male & female clients. She also does manicures, pedicures and facials. She is currently on the Board of the Peel Small Business Centre in Mandurah (formerly called the Business Enterprise Centre).
Senior Massage Therapist Peter is our senior therapist specialising in injury rehabilitation, chronic injuries including whiplash, workers compensation injuries, migraine & stress related headaches, lower back & sciatic injuries. He is trained in many different massage modalities including Manual Lymphatic Drainage & Reflexology. Peter has been in the industry for many years and is involved in ongoing training of other massage therapists to increase their skill levels. Previously he has been a member of the Peel District Regional Health Advisory Council and is currently on the Board of the Peel Chamber of Commerce & Industry. Peter specialises in (as he would say), 'fixing broken people' but can also give a great relaxing massage as well.
Remedial Massage Therapist Rachael has been with Applied Body Therapeutics for nearly 5 years and is an experienced remedial massage therapist. She specialises in soft tissue injuries including lower back strains, sciatic related problems, pregnancy massage and Trigger Point Therapy. Her interests are in clinical Aromatherapy as well as Swedish and Aromatherapy massage.
Relaxation Massage Therapist / Beauty Therapist Lynda has been with Applied Body Therapeutics for over 4 years and is a specialist in relaxation massage (Swedish) and Aromatherapy massage. Lynda's massage style is not as firm as our remedial massage therapists which is why Lynda is particularly suited and very experienced with massaging children, the elderly and pregnancy massage. Lynda also is our principle Corporate massage therapist and looks after our business clients with seated massages at their place of work. She is also able to combine massage and beauty therapies such as manicures, pedicures, facial and body exfoliation to provide a broad range of great pamper packages to our clients.
Remedial Massage Therapist Naz has been with Applied Body Therapeutics for over 4 years and specialises in injury rehabilitation, shoulder and back injuries. Naz was trained and has worked extensively in the U.K. as a remedial massage therapist and is particularly experienced in sports massage. She is experienced in treating a broad range of soft tissue injuries particularly sciatic nerve related pain and lower back strains. Naz has recently completed her Bachelor of Arts degree.
Ann Marie Dip.Rem.Th. (Massage) Remedial Massage Therapist
Annmarie is a qualified and experienced
natural therapist in complementary treatments. She has over 12 years
experience and holds qualifications in Aromatherapy, Reflexology.
Swedish Massage, Chinese Massage, Indian Head Massage, Hopi Ear
Candling and is also a Reiki Master. At present she completing her
studies to be an Enrolled Nurse. She has an ongoing passion and great
interest in Chinese Medicine.
Remedial Massage Therapist Amanda completed her studies in remedial massage therapy at the Australian College of Natural Medicine in 2006. She is currently in her second year of studies for her Bachelor of Naturopathy. Amanda is a welcome addition to our team as her enthusiasm and willingness to achieve results for her clients make her a valuable asset to our team. She is a very good remedial therapist who has developed a loyal following amongst the clients she has seen. Amanda is a keen golfer having won the State School Girls Championship during her school years. Meg Dip.Rem.Th. (Massage) Remedial Massage Therapist
Meg completed her studies in remedial massage therapy at the South West Regional College in Bunbury in 2007. She has recently joined our team and she is keen to apply her skills and knowledge in the area of injury rehabilitation and soft tissue manipulation. Meg can also give a very relaxing massage and is currently based at our France Street clinic. We welcome Meg to our team.
